This is the most important clause in this document, and we don't hide it in the fine print: it is the identity of the house.

Within what we publish, exactly TWO kinds of material coexist, and every piece always declares which one it belongs to.

FIRST KIND — THE RECREATED WORK. All the audiovisual material that ORIGINS MEDIA produces and publishes —scenes, faces, places, objects, voices, music and video, both on this site and on our YouTube channel— is a RECREATION generated or manipulated through artificial intelligence. These are not photographs, recordings or archival material: they are our interpretation, built with rigor, of something that truly happened. It is identified with the seal «AI recreation · ORIGINS MEDIA».

SECOND KIND — THE DOCUMENTARY REFERENCE MATERIAL. In the research section of each file on this site we also display AUTHENTIC historical photographs and documents obtained from public sources (public domain, free licenses or legitimate citation). They are shown exactly as they are, without manipulation, identified by their nature, their provenance and —when the license requires it— their author and their license. We cite them because the visitor has the right to see what we base our work on.

The relationship between the two kinds is as follows, and it is worth understanding well: the authentic documentary material is NOT incorporated, edited or assembled into our audiovisual productions. It functions as a research REFERENCE —so that the face, the wardrobe, the place or the era we recreate remain faithful to what is documented— and as public proof of our work. The work we publish is, in its entirety, recreation.

No image is ever presented as something it is not.

Accordingly, and expressly:

• We will never present a recreation as a real historical document, nor an image generated with artificial intelligence as an authentic photograph.
• We will never present an authentic historical photograph as if it were our own work, nor will we conceal its origin: its source is always cited.
• The voices, gestures, faces and scenes of historical figures that we recreate are artistic interpretations built from public documentary sources. They do not constitute records of events that occurred exactly as shown.
• The dialogues, save for direct quotation expressly identified and with its source, are written by ORIGINS MEDIA based on the research, and are not transcriptions of words actually spoken.
• This distinction applies equally on this website, on our YouTube channel and on any other medium where we publish.

This declaration is made voluntarily and in advance, in compliance with the spirit of article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on Artificial Intelligence —concerning the obligation of transparency regarding artificially generated or manipulated content— and as an ethical commitment particular to this studio.

• Our content is based on verifiable public sources (archives, biographies, correspondence, period press, academic publications), which are cited in each file.
• Where contradictory versions or facts disputed among historians exist, that condition will be expressly noted. We do not present as certain what is not documented.
• ORIGINS MEDIA does not seek to defame, insult, dishonor or profit from the reputation of any person, living or deceased, nor of their descendants. Our purpose is informative, historical, educational and cultural.
• The opinions and interpretations expressed in our files are the author's assessments, formulated in the exercise of freedom of expression and the right to information, and clearly distinguishable from the documented facts.
• Prohibition of sensationalism: this studio publicly commits to not fabricating scandal, invented mystery or misleading headlines.

Own content. The scripts, texts, files, edits, designs, original music, trademarks, logos, the name ORIGINS MEDIA and the site as a whole are owned by Enrique Meza, unless otherwise indicated. All rights reserved.

Third-party works. When artistic works, historical photographs or documents belonging to third parties are shown, this will be done under one of the following circumstances, always identified: works in the public domain; material under a free license (indicating the license and the author); or legitimate citation for purposes of critique, research or dissemination, to the extent justified by the intended purpose and with mention of the source, in accordance with the Federal Copyright Law of Mexico and international equivalents.

Third-party trademarks. YouTube, Discord and other names or logos cited belong to their respective holders and are mentioned solely for informational purposes, without suggesting any connection, sponsorship or endorsement.

RESERVATION OF RIGHTS AGAINST ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TRAINING: the extraction, copying, mining (text and data mining) or reuse of the content of this site and its dossiers for the purpose of training, fine-tuning or feeding artificial intelligence models is expressly prohibited, by any means, including automated crawlers. This reservation is made under Article 4.3 of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and applicable law, and is already technically active in the configuration of this domain.

Permitted use. You may share links to our site and quote brief excerpts while citing the source. You may not reproduce, re-edit, dub, republish or commercialize our dossiers —in whole or in substantial part— without written authorization.

ORIGINS MEDIA acts in good faith. If you believe that published content infringes your rights —copyright, image rights, honor, or those of a deceased relative— we want to know, and we will address it seriously.

Write to contacto@originsmedia.art indicating:

• Your name, means of contact and, where applicable, the capacity in which you are acting.
• The precise identification of the content (link, dossier, minute).
• The right you believe has been infringed and the reason.
• A good-faith statement as to the truthfulness of what you have set out.

We undertake to acknowledge receipt within a maximum of five business days; to review the complaint with the documentation in hand and respond with reasoned grounds; and to remove, correct or qualify the content when the complaint is well-founded, without requiring prior judicial proceedings.

We would rather correct a mistake than defend it.

This site may link to external platforms (YouTube, Discord, social media, documentary sources). We neither control nor are responsible for their content, policies or privacy practices. Access to them is undertaken at the user's sole responsibility.

• The content of ORIGINS MEDIA is intended for informational and cultural purposes. It does not constitute academic, legal, medical, financial or professional advice of any kind, and should not be used as the sole source for academic work or significant decisions.
• Although we research rigorously and verify our sources, we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy or completeness of the historical information, which by its very nature is subject to interpretation and new findings.
• We do not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of the site, nor are we liable for damages arising from technical failures, interruptions or viruses beyond our control.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ORIGINS MEDIA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the site.

This site is not directed at minors, nor does it knowingly collect their personal data. Some dossiers may address raw historical events (war, violence, death) and adult supervision is recommended.

The processing of the data you provide us (contact form, newsletter) is governed by our Privacy Notice, prepared in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares) in force in Mexico. ORIGINS MEDIA may modify this Legal Notice to adapt it to regulatory changes or to the evolution of the project. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, bearing its date of last update.

This Legal Notice is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico, waiving any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them, except where the law applicable to the consumer user mandatorily establishes another jurisdiction.
